I am not currently accepting clients who have not previously had an appointment with me at Geist. Unfortunately, this includes former and current clients from other salons who have not yet seen me at Geist. If I'm ever able to take on additional clients at Geist, I will first notify my original JP clients who currently see me in Westboro. Thank you for your loyalty - I truly appreciate it! ⸻ BUSINESS HOURS I’m at the studio every Tuesday & Thursday, 11 AM – 7 PM. To maintain work/life balance, I typically do not respond to work messages on weekends, Mondays, or after 7 PM. • I personally handle all client communication and cannot respond while with a client. Please do not call the salon. • Save my work number (508-251-9321) and avoid texting my personal phone. ⸻ MANAGING YOUR APPOINTMENT View, adjust, reschedule, or cancel via your confirmation text/email or by logging into the Gloss Genius app with your saved contact info. • Regular cancellations are only accepted via the booking site - not by text, email, or social media. • If you cancel after the online window closes, text me. Late-cancellation fees apply. • All changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance or you’ll be charged for the full reserved time. ⸻ APPOINTMENT ADJUSTMENTS Appointments may shift up to 30 minutes later to optimize scheduling. • If your appointment time moves by more than 30 minutes or to an earlier slot, I’ll text you. Otherwise, you’ll receive an automated update. ⸻ BOOKING My online schedule shows availability 90 days out, but you can book further ahead in person. • I rarely reschedule booked appointments but can’t guarantee those scheduled beyond 90 days. • Max two pre-booked appointments per client. • A valid credit card must be on file to hold appointments — your info is encrypted and secure. – To add or update your card on file: Log in to Gloss Genius using the email or phone number associated with your account (how you get your confirmations). – Navigate to the “Card on File” settings. – You can replace an existing card or add a new one. – If no card is currently on file, use the “Add” button to enter your card information. ⸻ WAITLIST No openings? JOIN MY WAITLIST! Spots open up frequently, and you’ll be notified automatically. ⸻ SILENT APPOINTMENTS Need quiet time? Just let me know! I want your appointment to be what you need. ⸻ IN A RUSH? Please let me know before we begin if you’re on a tight schedule. I can work more efficiently with minimal yapping, though I may still require the full duration of your appointment. Since my schedule is influenced by the flow of my day, I recommend allowing some flexibility and avoiding back-to-back commitments whenever possible. ⸻ PARKING You may park in the lot directly across from the front door of the studio while getting your hair done. ⸻ TRAIN We’re diagonally across from the Green Street stop on the Orange Line. ⸻ PAYMENT I accept cash or card - but likely won’t have change, so bring exact cash if needed. ⸻ STUDIO ETIQUETTE • Phones: Please silence your phone. • Children: Arrive alone unless with your own guardian/caretaker. • Animals: Only trained service animals allowed (per state board regulations). • WiFi: Available if you’d like to work while your color is processing. ⸻ BIRTHDAY Add your birth month and day to your profile (or email/text me to do it for you), and you’ll get $10 off your service if you come in within two weeks of your birthday! • Mention BEFORE check out! ⸻ HAIRCUT / COLOR ADJUSTMENTS I want you to love your hair! CANCELLATION POLICY
If you’re having trouble confirming, canceling, rescheduling, or adjusting your appointment, please take a moment to review the "Cancellation Policy" section of my website. You'll receive a reminder 2 wks before your appt - please review and adjust if needed. Appts will be forfeited and charged if not confirmed at least 24 hrs in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Confirmations begin 72 hrs prior to appt, not earlier. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the service total. ADJUSTING OR CANCELING All adjustments must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the time reserved. This includes removing a service from your appointment (for example, if you no longer want the haircut you booked but still want the color). To adjust your appointment, please log into GlossGenius. To cancel or reschedule, click the link in your confirmation email or text and select “Manage My Appointment,” or log into your GlossGenius account. Cancellations/adjustments within 48 hours must be texted to (508) 251-9321 - not emailed or sent via social media, and will be charged as late cancellations. WAITLIST EXCEPTION If I can fill your canceled appointment with someone from my waitlist, you won’t be charged. However, last-minute openings are often hard to fill. Please let me know as soon as possible, as I’m unable to fill same-day cancellations as I don’t have a receptionist and am busy with clients. CONFIRMATIONS To confirm your appointment (confirmations open 72 hours before your appointment, not earlier), please click the link in your text reminder and select “Confirm,” or click the “Manage My Appointment” button in your email reminder and then select “Confirm.” Appointments will be forfeited and charged if not confirmed at least 24 hrs in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Confirmations begin 72 hrs prior to appointment, not earlier. CREDIT CARD POLICY A valid credit card must remain on file. My system is secure, encrypting your details. No exceptions to my 48-hour cancellation policy, as it protects my income. LATE POLICY Arriving 5–15 minutes late may result in a partial or full cancellation of your service, still requiring full payment. Please plan for traffic, train delays, and parking. BOOKING AGREEMENT By booking, you accept these policies, separate from Geist Hair Studio’s. Unpaid missed appointments will prevent future bookings at Geist or Textured Petite.
